The administrative team of LFCS continues the unique dynamic of this charter school. Under the direct supervision of the LFCS School Board, the team of Debbie Beyer and Jerry Keough as co-principals directs the daily affairs of the school. Both bring unique and dynamic gifts to this project.

As one of the original charter developers, Debbie keeps the vision of Literacy First close to her heart and directs the educational and personnel vision of the school. Debbie brings years of educational experience and entrepreneurship to this project.  In her role as principal, on a daily basis you will see her in the classroom teaching students, training parents, collaborating with teachers and developing community relationships.

Mr. Keough, who came on board with this project early on, comes with years of business and educational expertise.  Jerry operates as the business manager for LFCS, along with his role of principal. On a daily basis you may find him on the playground, negotiating a contract, or balancing a budget.

Both Jerry and Debbie are committed to excellence in  making LFCS a unique, distinctively different learning environment for the children of East County.
